Driver Jane Harrington

jane A longtime racefan, Jane joined the x86 team in 2001. Shortly after moving to California from Nashville, Tennessee in 1999, Jane visited the track, put her money on the x86 car, and the rest is history. Driver Don Silva took Jane for her first ride in the Bomber #22. Jane had her best season in 2003, finishing second overall in the #86 Bomber, regularly setting fast time, garnering numerous top five finishes and spinning out (quicktime) her rivals.

In 2006, Jane will be taking a summer break from law school to race the #86 Bomber. And she's looking for sponsors and riders to help offset the cost of operating a race team.

Along with the x86 team, Jane has raced with other successful teams. In 2004, she joined veteran driver Jaime Kuper in the #90 Bomber car. And in 2005, she joined Tommy Lewis in the Bomber #20 car.

Dad & EarnhardtJane grew up in a racing family, traveling to races throughout the east coast . Competing in both the American Speed Association (ASA) and Nascar Busch Grand National circuits, Tom Harrington (pictured left with the late Dale Earnhardt) inspired the passion of racing in all of his kids. Jane spent countless weekends at racetracks, cheering on her favorite driver, eating hot dogs and learning a thing or two about racing cars.

Jane No On RecallIn September 2004, before California's special election, Jane raced the "No On Recall" car at the All American Speedway. The story was reported by the San Francisco Chronicle, Fox40, KCRA Channel 3 and KXTV Channel.10. Jane was interviewed, and her driving featured prominently on the evening's news.

When she's not racing, Jane is in law school at UC Davis, spending time outdoors or playing with her three-legged dog.
